Here you will experience some of the myriad of artistic pursuits that don't involve making a mark on paper or that age old excuse of "I can't draw a straight line"!
All creative endeavors utilize some of the basic skills: balance, beauty, color theory, and to some extent, desire. Some people seem gifted with innate talent. Others have the desire and 'want-to' to practice until their chosen 'art' appears effortless. It has been said that there are no 'art' prodigies as there have been in music. Which means to me that if you are taught the techniques, and have the passion you can be an artist!
The MyAT instructors are of the opinion that there is a creative ability in everyone...
cooking, woodworking, gardening, painting, writing, jewelry design, hair color (yes, the good ones use the same color wheel as fine artists), stained glass artisans, pottery, paper folding, interior design, clothing design...you get the idea.
Art covers hundreds of categories and it is this 'other' page will offer surprises and 'out of the box thinking'.
